c. 1940's, Shaker attributed. Balanced cool-toned checkerboard arrangement. Malachite, peacock, cobalt, shell, aubergine, charcoal, and hydrangea. Substantial cotton remnant looped on a burlap backing. Dense and fragile, weak ground. Best decoratively.
