c. 1850-1890, Northeast Iran. Complex network of diamond enclosures, each with a different color story. Harmonious tones of coral, peach, sea, wheat, ink, and bone. Many dense and directional borders draw the eye inward. Velvet-like wool pile. Some sporadic wear, beautiful antique condition.
