c. 1900. Cheerful and tactile shag - bands of crimson, indigo, slate, copper, salmon, and plum. Unraveled hand knit yarns hand stitched on cotton ticking ground. Uncommon technique, rare outside of Shaker communities. Lightweight and soft. Excellent condition, best used decoratively.
