 c. 1930, New England, United States. Rectangular one-patch pattern salvaged from wool work garments. Handsome, earthy tones of carob, slate, loden, and mink. The reverse is a petite blue-and-white homespun cotton check. Very square and beautifully pieced, neatly hand quilted in a small diamond pattern. Thin handle yet substantial in weight. An all-seasons blanket with quiet presence.
