Early 1900's, North America. Exquisite painterly composition - curvilinear "strokes" careen through a contained field. Earthy color palette - umber, olive, ruby, leaf, dove, and marigold. Wool, nylon, and silk dressing and suiting scraps hooked on burlap ground. Black twill binding. Best in low traffic or displayed.
