Antique Fan Quilt - 58" x 65"

c. 1915, United States. Forty-two quarter-circle fans arranged in a precise, repeating pattern. Soft and subdued palette - camel, rose, amathyst, and sage, with deeper accents of burgundy, forest green, and pops of vermillion. Cable quilted border and tiny precision stitching throughout. There are scattered small holes. The binding is fraying, the gauzy, wholecloth backing has splits and tears. Best decoratively, would be stunning on the wall.
