Mid 19th century, Central Asia. Dip-Ghali, wedding rug. Fine lattice of major and minor gul motif. Beautiful natural madder and lac dyes - deep rusty red, poppy, navy and bone. Fine compact weave with a medium lustrous and smooth wool pile, one worn corner. Highly accomplished workmanship, beautiful rare piece.
