Late 1950's, Peru, signed CFQ. Reversible Punto Arwi weaving technique. Distinct geometric and labrynthinian design in subtle lovely tones, all naturally dyed. Skilled color work of wisteria, juniper, laurel, and old gold. Dense flat and fine twisted wool on thin cotton warp. Smooth and luminous surface. Excellent condition. Given the visual three dimensionality of the piece, it would also do beautifully on a wall.
