Northeast Caucasus, c. 1890. Traditional flat-woven embroidery technique. Delicate and precise composition - wide octagonal tracery with individual totems within. Matured primary palette of rust, lemon, leaf, and clear lapis blue. Heavily worn, thin, and lightweight. Repaired and stable, but best in a low traffic area.
