Caucasus, c. 1900. Floral and leaf-like border surround a lively center field of "wheel of life" symbols. Terracotta, dove, ecru, and bark balanced on a deep indigo ground. A supple light-catching pile. Old soumak-style surface repairs, but overall lovely antique condition.
