c. 1880's, Turkish tapestry rug. Highly stylized garden scene encircle a central cusped medallion. Neutral palette of dune, wheat, and olive with washes of a pale lilac hue. Hand knotted silk appears like an etching. Very tightly and finely woven - pliant with easy drape. Areas of discoloring.
